There have been many exciting things happening on this end of the world so I’ll take a few minutes to fill you in on the particulars.
There is the possibility that I will be moving to a different location. At this time, the details have not been worked out. I would like to go into more detail but since I don’t know exactly where I will be, I think it is better to wait.
During the May Holiday (May 1-3, kind of like Labor Day in the States…they celebrate the people who work) I was able to travel to a beautiful lake in China called Song Hua Hu. I went with some friends and students. We stayed for 2 nights and had a great time! It was so wonderful to get out of the city for a few days. I was feeling kind of sad because I would be away from Colorado for my favorite time of year (camping, atvs, campfires, etc.) but this trip was a perfect substitute!

r English camp! I am really looking forward to camp this year. Last year, I was new and didn’t know what to expect but now that I have been here a year I know that camp is one of the most exciting times of the year! I will be a head teacher which means that I will be working with 5 other teachers. I and the other veteran teachers in my group will be helping a couple new teachers as they dive in to their first teaching experience with Chinese students. The theme this year is Space…should be a good time! Last year, many great contacts were made with students at camp; we're hoping for the same again this year.
