We started our English summer camp today. I don't even know how to begin to tell you about our students. They are so precious! They are so eager to learn and become friends with us. We have already made very good friends with many of them and they are helping us learn Chinese. We are slowly but surely picking up on some of it. Some of the girls in my class gave me my Chinese name today. I'm not even going to try to type it because I can barely say it but it means "Happy." =) We are so eager to continue to build relationships with them and share with them.  Rick has 36 in his class and I have 40. They have already all become very special to us. Rick will have his first teaching experience on Thursday and mine will be on Friday. I'm still a little overwhelmed with the thought of teaching but I'm learning a lot from observing. They have thankfully taken it easy on us these first few days which has been a huge help.
