At its essence, ETA is a team of English teachers trained and equipped especially for Asia. We work together closely, receive specific Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) training, teach on the university level, and share our lives with students.

ETA focuses on placing teachers in a cohesive, supportive team whose members can encourage, enhance, and learn from one another. New members will find veteran teachers willing to help with anything from teaching strategies to daily living in a foreign country.

In addition to our unique emphasis on the personal and professional well-being of our teachers, ETA also places great importance on a close cooperation between our teachers and local friends. These partnerships help our teachers adjust to life abroad and more effectively reach out to their students.
